MORAN CONTEMPORARY PHOTOGRAPHIC PRIZE

CLOSING DATE FOR ENTRIES: 31 January 2008

Open to all Australian primary school students, the Moran Contemporary Photographic Prize‚ Primary School Section, is an exciting opportunity for students to enter a prestigious national competition and have the opportunity to see their work exhibited initially at The State Library of NSW and then around Australia.

Entrants to the Primary Schools Section are asked to interpret the theme, Contemporary Life in Australia‚ with an emphasis on portraits of Australians going about their day-to-day lives within their environment. Images that reveal a deep connection between the photographer and their subject(s) will be well received by the judge/s.

Selected finalists will receive a digital camera, a certificate of merit, and the recognition of seeing their work exhibited.
