A portrait of disgraced former detective Roger Rogerson is in the running for Australia's richest portrait prize. The Portrait by artist Ross Roorda has been announced as one of the 150 semi-finalists in the $150,000 Doug Moran National Portrait Prize.

The Moran Arts Foundation have announced this year’s judges for the Doug Moran National Portrait Prize and the judges for the Moran Contemporary Photographic Prize. Winners will be announced on Tuesday 28 October 2014. The Moran Art Prizes exhibition will be held at Juniper Hall, Paddington, Sydney, from Wednesday 29 October until Sunday 15 February 2015.
For 25 years, The Moran Prizes have been supporting the individuality of Australian artists and their talents.
