Dr Ron Radford AM

Dr Radford is an art historian and former director of the National Gallery of Australia, Canberra.

He has worked in art museums for 43 years and is author of several books on art.

Dr Radford was an original board member and chairman of the newly established National Portrait Gallery, Canberra.

He is a former Chair of the Visual Arts/Crafts Board of the Australia Council.

He was a co preliminary judge with Margaret Olley of the 2000/2001 Doug Moran National Portrait Prize.
